Industrial is a neighborhood in the north of Mexico City. As a result of the creation of this neighborhood, other neighborhoods were created in its periphery, such as: Estrella, Tepeyac Insurgentes and Guadalupe Insurgentes, Guadalupe Tepeyac and in part the Lindavista neighborhood.
It is characterized by the nomenclature of its streets, which are named after industries, factories or companies of the time, such as: Victoria, Excelsior, Necaxa, Fundidora de Monterrey, Cruz Azul, La Corona, etcetera; although it also has some streets with names of people some changed years after the creation of the colony. It is noteworthy that some of the colonia's sewers have the name of the colonia, something that does not happen with sewers of the same style.
